The HTC One was one of the best phones of 2013, so there was a lot of speculation and excitement leading up to the release of the HTC One (M8). The verdict is still out as far as performance, but the specs are exciting.
The sleek and sexy all metal design and dual front speakers that we love so much are still the main appeal to this phone. Available to order from all major carriers, the HTC One (M8) is a worthy opponent of the Samsung line.
The Google Play Edition of this phone also became available for purchase from Google Play for $699.00.
Interestingly, the front facing camera on this phone is 5MP, while the rear facing camera is 4.1MP. The rear facing is UltraPixel, but this is still an odd choice. The main gripe anyone had with the HTC One was with the camera, so the fact that it wasn’t a drastic improvement is a bit disappointing.
So what do you think? Will the newest version of HTC’s greatest selling phone of all time be enough to compete with Samsung?
